Our business involves R&D, marketing & sales and production of different type of door systems, sightseeing trains£¬electric vehicle such as 2-wheeler motorcycle, 3-wheeler tricycle,4-wheeler quadricycle, airport bus and equipment for outdoor amusement park. We have foreign trade business license to facilitate our overseas export markets. For years, we have accomplished new product development, new design, manufacturing and sales through joint venture and partnership arrangement. Our business approach is also acting as system integrator and working closely with our strategic partners to exports competitive products and services to overseas and assists our customers to obtain financial funding from China to support their projects. Since 2016/2017, our company has been very actively exploring business opportunities related to the Belt & Road Initiatives. Our door systems are for passenger door system customised to coaches, buses and special vehicles, as well as emergency doors. Our sightseeing train is specifically designed for visitor application with futuristic look, supported by our engineering excellence. As part of expansion plans of the company into international bus markets, the company collaborated with a few renowned automotive companies in China, among others are Huanghai Automotive, Loncin Automotive, Luxing Automotive and JAC. Recently, the company has entered into a strategic partnership with Shandong Qilu Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd ("Qilu Bus") to strengthen its product range that can be offered to the customers. Qilu Bus was established in 1984. The factory is located at the city of Dezhou, Shandong Province, China, about 300Km from Beijing and 200Km from Tianjin Port. The Dezhou city is well-connected to the other major cities of China either by highway or bullet train. The factory has a total land area of about 500,000 m 2 . The built-up area is about 40,000 m 2 . The initial investment was about 500 million RMB (US$72 million). The manufacturing of buses and coaches are designed in production line process, which has chassis assembly line, bus body construction line, ant-rust and spray-painting plant, final assembly line and quality inspection and certification. The company has a team of automobile designers who have many years of experience in developing and designing buses and coaches. The maximum production capacity can achieve 22 buses per day. The company ever achieved a sale record of 3,000 buses per year. The manpower strength is 600 people, of which 46% of employee has tertiary qualification. For those buses sold in China, there are no major quality problems. Most of the problems encountered were related to lapse in maintenance by operators or misappropriate operation such as overloading. To further mitigate all those unnecessary disruption to operation due to technical problems, reinforcement in technical training and maintenance to operators are carried out on annual basis. Other than domestic market, Qilu Bus products are also exported to many countries such as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgystan, North Korea, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Nigeria, The Philippines and Mali. Total number of vehicles exported to-date more than 1,150 units. The recent export order was from Kazakhstan for 100 units in the form of SKD. Bus body framework and paintwork are done in Qilu Bus factory, the rest of the components such as engine, transmission, axles, chassis frame and body accessories such as seats, flooring, paneling, tubing and harness, lighting are sent in the form of spare parts and assemble in Kazakhstan factory under technical guidance and assistance from Qilu Bus. A team of technical specialists is sent from Qilu Bus to Kazakhstan to ensure the final assembly of the buses is carried out in accordance with the quality standard set by Qilu Bus. Qilu Bus is also committed to ensure all those buses exported are supported with appropriate aftersales services network in terms of maintenance and spare parts. This is done through appointment of local authorised agents. |
